cant enjoy peace here - sick of all the news from around the globe

do we (humankind) really need a shared enemy from outer space first to become adult? I mean real adult:

- not shitting in our pants (nature)
- leaving fairy tales behind (no religions)
- begin to talk (no wars) 
- care for ourself (water,food,energy,info for everyone)
- begin to walk (spreading seeds outside of Solar System)
